The Person I Thought I Wanted to Be – Confused but Happy
is a fictional story created by author Jo Anne Meadows. The main character is a young man who was undecided about what he wanted to major in while in high school. He finally decided he wanted to become a drum major and was very prominent. After finishing high school and then graduating college with a business degree, he discovered he was unhappy with his life. He quickly came to the conclusion that he wanted to become a hair stylist. He went to cosmetology school and became a great hair stylist and nail technician. He opened two salons in his home town and developed a large and very high profile clientele. He was under the impression that this was what he wanted to do forever, until he got back in contact with his male college friend. Even though this is a fictional story, there are many people that can relate to it.
