Men, and husbands in particular, are under attack today. We are portrayed on television and in advertisements as being like children; focused on our own toys and uninterested and uninvolved in what is happening with our families. We need our wife’s help with any household job. It is perfectly ok to make jokes about us on social media.

This is not the kind of man that God calls us to be in scripture. We are called to lead, but to lead in a different way. We are called to servant leadership and to look to Jesus himself as a model of how to be that servant leader.

40 Days for Husbands takes incidents from Jesus’ life and verses about him and presents them in a workbook format to help men make very specific changes in their lives in order to be the men God called them to be. This book is designed to be a practical tool for making men better husbands by loving like Jesus loved.
