The Fearless Five is an adventure story about five young men growing up in a small town, beside a lazy river that provided fun and river adventure. They were active in sports and they won their state basketball championship. They all became Eagle Scouts. They discovered and eventually explored a large cave near their hometown of Hartford City. While on vacation as young teenagers, they had a frightening experience of encountering smugglers while camping on an uninhabited island off the Florida coast. Two of these smugglers were also counterfeiters and were forced by Nazis to aid their cause. As fate would have it, the two Jews who were forced to counterfeit American currency became friends of the Fearless Five and together they were active in establishing the formation of the State of Israel. They experienced danger on many fronts, and despite their active lives, they found time for friendship and romance.
