To distant observers Getty L. Johns was a soft spoken, well mannered gentleman. He went about his day smiling and engaging in light conversation with those around him. His knack for playing the lottery and his outspoken political views made him a favorite in the office.

To Lizzie Jacob, Getty was a lying two-timing psychopath. It wasn’t until a chance encounter with Ruthie, “the other woman,” that Lizzie truly realized the depth of his manipulation and deceit. The information shared with her hurt in ways that she could never imagine, but it also set her spirit free!

As a result, Lizzie and Ruthie decided to make the best of this unfortunate situation and a formidable friendship is forged among the ruins.
