Entertaining first novel of mystery and suspense set in Miami, Florida and Phoenix, Arizona. Joseph Franco a.k.a. Pepe, seeks help from engineer Phillip Strickland to locate and disable implants that allow drug people to listen and talk to him. Philip recruits David Floyd, a friend and private detective, the Miami and Phoenix police and Drug Investigation Agency. The story is blended with much action, and well-balanced with humor in the midst of sorrow. Love blossoms suddenly. The search to unravel the mystery, leads to murder and death of the good, the bad, and the innocent. Phillip’s inability to pronounce names Like Pepe creates the name Peipee and a good measure of humor towards the end. Peipee amuses and provides eventual closure with humor and love for a couple that longed for it.
