The demonstrators were jubilant as they recalled the damage done by their heroes on 9/11. They made speeches condemning the Great Satan, promised holy war and burned the flag of our country. Most of the city’s population was unaware of the event, but others were very aware of it and were preparing reprisals.

Young FBI agent, Kurt Muller, decided to take himself out for lunch one day, a wise decision. He fell madly in love with the waitress, Deena. He returned for a second lunch which did not go well because neither Kurt nor Deena could find the courage of commitment. Kurt did not return for a third time but Deena sets out to track him down. She succeeds in her search and a wonderful romance begins.

Kurt’s training officer at the NYPD is Kim Kahn who has been informed, by a friend at the CIA, that there is evidence of a planned terrorist attack against the city. As Kim works to prevent the attack, she learns that Deena may be affiliated with the terrorist that are planning the attack. Things go badly for Deena.

It is confirmed that the planning for the attack is underway and Kim needs to learn the how, when and where of the attack if she is to foil it. For reasons known only to herself, Deena decides to help Kim in her battle with the terrorists.

The success or failure of the attack is not the end of the story. Life for those involved takes some unusual turns.
