Small business makes up 98% of all businesses in America. Growth of small businesses is necessary for long-term productivity, profitability, and sustainability of the community. Small businesses make a significant contribution to the social and economic well-being of societies by creating new jobs and increasing tax revenue for the local community. There are at least 1.4 million small businesses operating across all industries in the United States. When small businesses do not grow or go out of business, families and communities suffer. Another problem associated with the failure of small business is higher unemployment rates for local communities.
