This book describes some of our popular scientific theories and their related problems. It also explains additional aspects of current science issues so that you, the reader, can decide what to believe. Scientific theories and answers given by the news media to science related questions are usually reported as accepted facts, but what is reported is not always accurate. In addition, most news services provide only the politically correct views on most subjects (such as global warming) and ignore other information about these subjects.
The Introduction is an example of a house that is either new or is 150 years old-perhaps you can determine its age. This is followed by a description of the Big Bang theory and its problems, the ages of the Sun, Earth, and Moon, and another example of an object whose age is difficult to define. Other subjects covered are global warming, our energy problems, the ages of the dinosaurs, evolution, intelligent design, the accuracy of the Bible, and simple descriptions of some related natural laws.
