“I expect this out of you Seth. It didn’t really shock me hearing that you were a hired killer. But my son, now that is a hard pill to swallow. You’ve always had the grace of your mother and her compassion and her heart. All the things I wanted you to have and nothing of me.” He looked up at the ceiling for a moment then he sighed and turned to them.

“But instead you look like me, Christ you even stand like me. There is no doubt left in anyone’s mind you belong to me. But I didn’t want you to be like me Jamie. Don’t get lost in the lust for the kill. The joy it brings and the sadness it leaves behind when you’re old enough to understand it.”
