The five brothers and sisters of the Graham family have embarked on a secret project they call Bowditching. Inspired by Nathaniel Bowditch – who worked his way up from the bottom in the sailing and navigation world of the late eighteenth century – they decide to tackle their own challenges and ambitions the same way. Learning to “sail by ash breeze” (the sailors’ phrase for hard work) isn’t easy, and they do run into squalls every now and then, but one by one the Grahams get the satisfaction of seeing their dreams stretch and grow, sometimes taking on shapes even they did not anticipate. Along the way, the Bowditchers, as they call themselves, discover that even in their modern world, true success is found in the old verse which says, “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not men.” (Col. 3:23)

I am encouraging for you to get this book for your son or daughter for I know that teenagers are looking for answers in their life’s this book will help them out and to understand how to put their trust in God, and that God truly loves them no matter what they done, I am thankful that God gave me the talent to write this book out to the teens, this book is written to help all walks of people to understand how to put their faith in God, if I can reach one teenager from this book it’s worth any thing on this earth, for each boy and girl God has a plan for them, and that his love will pour out on you forevermore, how great is our God!

I’d never met a man; other than my father, that molded my life, at such a young age. The stories that Bill told us kids; are still vivid in my memories. They were stories of honest men, doing an honest days work. God help the person who interfered or tried to steal their livelihood. For they were men of law and respect.

Sure, our parents told us that the stories ‘Cowboy Bill’ told us were lies, but we didn’t care. He took one summer of our lives and showed us what it was like to be a cowboy; to live in the old frontier. He told us things I’ll never forget. And I’ll never forget him or that summer.

Each time I look at the stars at night, I’m reminded of him.
