The Search for Catholicism is a volume containing two works. The first, titled “Searching for Truth: Amin’s Story,” is a fictional account about a man named Amin who is searching for the meaning of life. This story focuses on philosophical and existential issues regarding the pursuit of truth. Amin eventually finds the truth contained within Catholicism. Readers can imagine the difficulties Amin encounters as he travels across the United States seeking truth. In the process Amin finds himself facing various predicaments.

After composing “Searching for Truth: Amin’s Story,” I thought it would be appropriate to defend the reasonableness of Catholicism. The second work is a short philosophical and theological paper regarding the truthfulness of Catholicism titled “Catholicism: The Synthesis of All Knowledge.” It is my hope that the “Catholicism: The Synthesis of All Knowledge” provides a satisfactory answer to those who may want to know why Amin’s choice to embrace Catholicism was philosophically reasonable. This work critiques philosophical presuppositions of the Enlightenment, Protestantism, and Romanticism and attempts to show that Catholicism includes all that is true in these epistemologies.
