Imagine having a conversation with none other than mother Earth herself. That’s exactly what happens to Todd and Sarah, ten-year-old cousins who share a summer they will never forget! When they begin their yearly summer project they have no idea of the wheels they will set in motion. This year they build a castle in Sarah’s back yard.
A band of Elves moves into the castle, taking the children on a breathtaking adventure into the very heart of Earth. But joy and laughter turn to shock and dismay when their visit reveals an Earth darkened by plague and destruction, held captive by the Homonite, the noxious creature unknowingly created by humans themselves.
Now aware of what is happening to our planet, and armed with a new found knowledge, Todd and Sarah realign their lives in order to live in harmony with Earth, as well as teaching others the importance of healing our environment. Around the world, more Elves reach out to other humans, gradually reopening the door that has for so many millenniums been closed against the ignorance that destroys.
