The Mountain Within

McKenzie and Madison were like most sisters. McKenzie was the youngest and followed her sister around like a shadow. Although Madison would rather not be bothered by her younger sister, she could never have imagined the pain and guilt she would feel when McKenzie was tragically killed.

Peter Dougan, the man on death row for killing McKenzie Williams, has told Madison that she was responsible for her sister’s death. If only she could remember exactly what happened up on the mountain that day. The only way to make peace with her past is to go back to Cappy Falls and face the memories of the most painful experience of her life.
