Marblemount Journal is a personal narrative of Dr. Cain’s solitary reading and reflection during a five-week retreat with his dog, McCool, at Skagit River Resort in Marblemount, Washington, September-October, 2010. The second part, Selected Essays, Notes, and Letters spans twenty years (1997-2017) of Dr. Cain’s introspective writings, thoughts, and critiques over a wide range of topics: poetry, literature, music, personal events, and everyday life.
