After retiring as a deputy sheriff I exchanged my six-shooter for a pen, and instead of bullets I used words to begin creating fun stories. Within a few years my imagination brought forth wonderful new friends. The main characters in my stories are mostly non-human, except young Robbie. “Robbie and Matt” came first, then came “Hank,” and then came “Tiny the Timeless Sparrow.” I hope that you will have a chance to read all three stories. I think you will have fun reading the adventures of my new friends as I did creating their adventures.

Tiny is a young sparrow living with his parents in a small sparrow community near the shore of the Sea of Galilee at the time of Jesus. Tiny’s father warned him not to fly high up in the night sky due to the danger of hawks. Obsessed with an idea we often throw caution to the wind. So, one night while his parents and the flock were asleep Tiny lifted up silently into the night sky. He flew higher than ever before and was almost overwhelmed by the beauty below him. Within seconds his whole life was about to be changed. But first he must survive the hawk attack.

“Screaming victory, the hawk swept upward into the cold and dizzy heights, carrying Tiny with him. The pain was unbearable and he saw spots like stars dancing before his eyes. Horrified, Tiny saw the other talon stretch open and reach for his body. Glistening in the moonlight it was almost a separate and hungry monster. He twisted and lifted up with all his remaining strength, flapping his wings as he did so. There was a snapping sound and he felt his right wing tearing. He almost passed out from the pain, but his last ditch effort had worked. To his relief he found himself free, but he was now tumbling in a free fall towards the water far below.”

Previously in Book 4 Titanimus made Jenny a Genie.

In Book 5 Jenny and King Farook are on their way back to Aurion for her Coronation but little did they know, Evil Apepi has plans to steal her new powers.

Suddenly, Jenny awakes stuck to a wall and cocooned in a strange eerie cobweb while King Farook lays motionless on the cave floor below. She tries to escape by using her new Genie powers but they’re not strong enough, after all, she’s only half Genie.

Then remembering that the Great Titanimus promised that he would always protect her, she called out to him for help.

Once Jenny and King Farook were freed, she returned home to even more adventures, but not in Space-Time, this time it was in the Australian Outback.

Jenny goes on a research trip with her Dad in the Northern Territory and they stay at the hotel she had always dreamed of, the world famous Mercure Kakadu Crocodile Hotel.

On the Outback tours they experience an authentic Aboriginal Corroboree and the crazy world of jumping crocodiles! When a jumping croc accidently lands on the boat and attacks her Dad, Andre and Jenny leap into action.

Finally, Jenny’s BGFF (Best Genie Friend Forever) Futuna shows up but they inadvertently end up in “Time Travel Trouble” and then the thrills really start; especially when the two beautiful Demigoddesses of Dimensions, Bhavishi and Niyati, arrive. But can they save the day?

Robbie is a young boy who rescued a giant sea turtle named, Matt, who had been injured by a large shark by the name of, Gore. After Matt recovers, these two head out to sea, with Robbie riding on top Matt’s very large back. The following is just one of their many experiences.

From Gore’s viewpoint, if this stupid turtle was going to let his neck stick out for him to chop off, so be it. Within seconds Gore closed the distance to near nothing. Robbie nearly panicked and froze in fear, for when Gore opened his mouth wide it looked like a giant black cavern, one that he desperately did not want to enter. Within that awful cavern were rolls of very large and razor-sharp teeth, just waiting to rip into him and Matt. Even scarier than the mouth, if that were possible, were Gore’s large and bottomless-pit-like-black eyes that reflected nothing from the inside but evil and death.

I will give you just a taste of what to expect inside Hank’s story book.

Hank is a young mallard duck, and because of his skill at flying, he was chosen to lead his flock to their winter home. He took his appointment as Point Duck very seriously and promised his father he would do his best and would keep an eye out for trouble, such as hawks and hunters. But, despite his best of intentions, as with all of us, sometimes things can go terribly wrong. This was the case with Hank, as the following will show:

“Hank led the flock in a slow circle over the lake. For a moment he thought he saw a suspicious reflection of light from down below, but when he looked again it was gone, and he thought it was probably just the sun bouncing off a wave. Out ahead of the flock as Point Duck, Hank thought he heard an unusual “click” sound. Hank was familiar with most sounds in and around lakes, but this one was different. It sounded more mechanical, more human, making him nervous. All kinds of thoughts rushed through his young mind. Hank’s forward speed, with the flock tagging close behind, now carried them over open water and that all-important touch-down point. Hank thought he saw a movement off to the left, and when he caught a whiff of that peculiar man-smoke his body began to tingle with fear. Suddenly scared as never before, fearful not only for himself, but for the flock and Hannah, he knew he had to pull the flock back up to the safety of the sky, if it were not already too late. Just as he lifted his head up and started to yell a warning, all hell broke out.”

This little book is a mixture of Christian-based tales and poems, some enchanting, some humorous and some profoundly moving. Each is aimed at a different age group and may be used as a reading for Sunday School classes. There are lessons on how to listen to the usually silent voices of God’s creation, how to recognize the work of guardian angels, and how the Holy Spirit is at work in our world today. One story depicts a group of teenagers on a scavenger hunt who discover more than one kind of treasure. Another is a coming-of-age tale about a frightened fawn, and one more, a fairy tale, offers an alternative to the usual happily-ever-after ending. The final selection, the most compelling of all, is a story that speaks profoundly to the root origins of the tragic events that occurred at the Emmanuel AME church in Charleston, South Carolina on June 17, 2015. The reader will be moved or enlightened or entertained by this charming assortment of tales and poems.

In the mystical land of Archia, where magic and the forces of arcane are prevalent, an evil is brewing, with great, evil intents in mind. The four nations of Archia, who had created a grand alliance to protect and preserve the peace of the land of Archia, must sacrifice everything to stop the group of highly skilled, malicious mages before they can reach legendary and infinite power. Futuna surprises Jenny with astonishing news that she’s going to become a Genie in 33 Earth days and she’ll be back to take her to Crystalfairia to meet Titanimus and the Seven Supreme Crystals.

Everything seemed to be going as planned until the Supreme Crystals warned King Farook that because the Black Hole above Aurion had collapsed into itself, the fabric of Space-Time had changed.

Time was running out, Futuna now had only 33 hours to get Jenny to Crystalfairia. Knowing her Genification was in jeopardy, King Farook decided that he had to go instead of Futuna to get Jenny.

Will King Farook get Jenny to Crystalfairia in time? Will Jenny meet Titanimus and the Seven Supreme Crystals? Will Jenny receive her Genie Powers after all? Will Jenny go on future adventures in Book 5?

This book is about a very smart and fast student, who does the right thing in school when asked by his teachers.

Jenny discovers some of the mysteries of the Cosmos as Futuna and her travel to Futuna’s home planet Aurion. After passing through the First Wormhole and landing on Aurion they play happily amongst the enchanting flowers.

But little did they know they would soon be thrown into the battle of the Millennium! Wicked Queen Tulreen and evil King Zoyrel had ordered an attack on Aurion to capture the Genies and imprison them in the Sphere of Dark Matter until their magic was transferred to Tulreen so they could rule the Multiverse.

Great Oracle Titanimus reveals that only the Great Vase of Ra can save the Genies. King Farook tells Jenny, “It will be a very dangerous journey to retrieve the Great Vase from your dresser back on Earth. Only you can make this decision.”

Will Jenny say “Yes” and make the perilous voyage with King Farook back to Earth? Will King Farook and the Genies win the battle? What happens to Jenny when the battle is over? Will she really become a Genie?

Welcome back to the fascinating world of the 12 inch tall Gickens. You were introduced to them in the first book of this series – Let’s Meet the Gickens. Now the story continues. Caseyville has been settled now for a couple of years, and everything seems to be going smoothly.
