Dust

A collection of poems.

Treat the rock of cryptic hearts
      and obvious sneers
with graceful movements,
lasting glances of hopeful promise.

I’ve smiled too many times from embarrassment.
Shed too many tears of uncertainty.
I know nothing of the truth,
discard that word for an indecipherable glance.
