Krista Rose Leman, born June 12, 1989, has spent her life in the village of Ninilchik, Alaska. She is the youngest of three daughters born to her mother, a special ed. teacher and her father, the coach of the well known Ninilchik Lady Wolverine basketball team. She has always been creative from the time she was very small. She attended dance classes for three years. She made her debut singing appearance at a local talent show at the tender age of seven and her latest public performance was singing the National Anthem at a District basketball tournament before several hundred people. She’s performed in plays, talent shows, and competitions; acting, dancing and singing. This will be her first published written work; a collection of poems she began writing at the age of fourteen. As you read her poems, you can feel her creative soul as she writes about her longing, her pain, her loves, her dreams. Aptly titled Teen Angst this collection of poetry will speak to teens everywhere.

Krista has aspirations of becoming a sports broadcaster. Acting and directing are other areas of interest. As a high school junior, she is very active in school and sports. Her favorite sport is basketball and she plays point guard for the Lady Wolverines. She was the State Runner Up in the Elk’s Hoop Shoot when she was eight which was a sign of good things to come as her skills have earned her the rank of team co-captain. In volleyball, she led her team in kills in the 2005 season. In her spare time she likes scrap booking, hanging out with friends, watching the Simpsons, and writing stories and poems.

For those who wish to get in touch with the Lord in an emotional and poetic way. Every poem may not touch you, but it is guaranteed that at least one poem will connect with you spiritually, emotionally, or just plain make you say, “I’ve been there before.” A Walk With Jesus, is about the struggles of life and where those struggles lead you... To the Lord! And whether you walk with Him now or are searching for Him this book is a must read.

This is a collection of poetry by a person who was learning the English language while he wrote most of the poems. Most of the poems in this collection are poems about love, unhappiness, and pain that a person goes through for being part of this life; above all, the sorrow that we the people give to each other.

This is a word of peace, joy, love and humor fitly spoken from Our Lord and Master of the Universe. He instructs me prophetically to write and I grant His request! I pray that you will find comfort and complete deliverance from the words of The Almighty God, Yahweh and His Son… Yahweh Ben Yahweh!

Sherene Love’s knack for writing was nurtured and developed via the encouraging words of her Aunt Shandra. Both of them having had their writing skills to become more intense and defined, after the death of her mother, Angel, would result with this book of poetry being a “must read.”

It deals with issues from the wide spectrum of life and the haunting, poignant and “matter of fact” delivery is sure to have the reader impressed.

Stepping back and allowing her niece to be exposed to the literary world is indicative of Shandra’s desire to shine the spotlight on others whom she deems gifted.

It’s always interesting to hear another person’s thoughts or philosophy about life. Some people are so boring they put you to sleep. Others can be so amusing.
