In a world of uncertainty, the hardest thing for you and me to do is believe that we can change the past.

We must endeavor to preserve the vast array of assets we have accumulated in life and to cherish the knowledge gained.

It is of exceptional importance to me to never forget who I am or where I came from. I have focused on helping others enhance their lives as I did my life.

You will come to observe that within your heart your personal relationships and with God will prosper by making the right decisions.

You can make dreams come true for nothing is truly lost, only treasures in life are originated.

May God bless you,

Paulette

The spiritual experience that surpasses any other embodied in the love of our Savior. No Greater Love is a resource for those who seek to deepen their faith in reassurances of Godís love, forgiveness, and life eternal through His Son. In a spirit of compassion and remorse, some verses approach the cross of our Savior in the depths of His suffering for us on Calvary. Included are verses praising Godís greatness and His boundless, eternal gifts. Some poems are targeted against the displays of disrespect and denigration of our God, the truths of His creation, and our Christian heritage. The book combines truths of Scripture with the authorís perspective in verse.

The title They That Wait comes from one of my favorite Bible verses, Isaiah 40:31. I experienced its meaning starting in 1979 when I became legally blind from histoplasmosis. The disease ended my job and all my needlework hobbies. I prayed and prayed for something meaningful to do with the time in my new life. Finally, in December of 1986, with the help of the Holy Spirit, I began writing poetry for the Lord. I was 62 at that time. Iíve since added memories and secular topics, but I like the inspirational ones best. It has been a learning process and Iím still learning. My heartfelt gratitude goes to my daughter, brother, and niece for their assistance throughout the years.

The Carolyn Gaines Perspective. . .
Notebook and Editions

Carolyn Gaines is an inspiration to others who are going through different trials and tribulations in their lives. Our Heavenly Father has surely blessed her in a spiritual sense with her poetry, songwriting, singing, and her becoming an author.

Carolyn shares her gifts with others by helping out wherever she can, writing for nonprofit organizations and letting them use her poetry as a gift to raise funds to help others. In spite of her health troubles, she really tries very hard to live a normal life and do as the Lord would have her to.

Sister Gaines shares her knowledge and wisdom to help others and to discuss her own personal aspects in life so that others can see and feel the blessings that God can bestow upon a person of obedience and following his will. Singing in her church choir and going to other churches or events is one of her favorite settings.

Carolyn feels that expressions mean a lot into todayís society. Being able to express her poetry emotionally, spiritually, and physically is certainly an asset to her work.

Carolynís hopes and dreams include being able to write and touch hearts as much as possible. It is her deepest hope that her work will help the saved as well as the unsaved to have a closer walk with Jesus while the blood is still running in their veins. Also, she truly does intend to publish more and more to do Godís will as he sees fit.

ďFrom My Heart to Your HeartĒ

This book of poetry was written in hopes that whoever reads it, will not only receive a blessing, but that it would inspire hope, encouragement and inspiration in their lives. Most of all I hope and pray that in some small way this book will, by ministering to people, bring some honor and glory to my Heavenly Father and to His Son, the Lord Jesus Christ.

Each of the poems contained in this book, as I wrote it I felt that the Lord Himself was ministering to me and yet also giving me the words to put down on paper (for me to reread and for others to read) to remind me in years to come of the many blessings He has given me and how regardless of the circumstances I might have been going through, He was always there for me and He always will be. And He will be for you too.

God Bless You as you read this book and always as you seek to serve Him.

Only time can heal a broken heart and a heart that is made of stone.

Do you feel all alone, like no one understands you?

Donít look any farther.

I used to think that I was the only one who had family problems, big dreams, and special moments that I couldnít quite express.

Maybe this will help you to know that you are not the only one out there that has gone through hardships in your life and great moments too.

Aptly titled Teen Angst this collection of poetry will speak to teens everywhere.

Krista has aspirations of becoming a sports broadcaster. Acting and directing are other areas of interest. As a high school junior, she is very active in school and sports.
