I, Dr. John C. Lawson, wrote this book out of a deep respect for the United States Constitution, the principles upon which our nation was founded, and the oath I took as a United States Marine. I proudly served in the United States Marine Corps and was honorably discharged after faithfully fulfilling all my duties as a soldier.

The Marine Corps motto, Semper Fidelis ("Always Faithful"), is more than a phrase; it is a lifelong commitment to integrity, service, and the defense of the freedoms guaranteed to every American.

This book is not written out of partisan loyalty or political ambition. It is written from a conviction that truth matters, constitutional government matters, and the preservation of our democratic republic depends upon informed, morally grounded citizens who are willing to think critically, seek the truth, and hold every elected official accountable -- regardless of political party.

My purpose is to encourage readers to examine the facts, question narratives, exercise discernment, and remember that our allegiance should always be to the Constitution, the rule of law, and the enduring principle that all people are created equal and deserve equal justice under the law. I remain faithful to the ideals I pledged to defend: liberty, justice, accountability, and the Constitution of the United States of America.
