Peace Lake is the love capital of the world and the home of Drake “The Almighty” Penn.
Drake Penn has it all, huge muscles, a great cook and his own cottage on Peace Lake. When he was seven years old, his twin brother, Jimmy, drowned right in front of him. His father was drunk and belittled him in front of everyone. After seeing what his parents went through burying Jimmy, Drake becomes Peace Lake Superman, rescuing anyone from drowning, burning buildings or burning cars.
Jimi Henderson, a resident at Peace Lake Nursing Home, was there on that awful day and saw firsthand how Drake was treated. When Jimi ate his first lunch at Peace Lake Nursing Home, he knew it was Drake’s cooking. One day, he saw Drake talking to the residents in the main dining room. Jimi invited Drake into his room to reach out to him. Day after day, Drake stopped by to talk to Jimi after work. While Drake needed Jimi’s guidance, Jimi needed Drake’s friendship as well.
Jennifer Boringmore, registered nurse at Peace Lake Nursing Home and single, dreams about being in love. She feels like God was punishing her for her past mistakes. What she does not realize is that God has a plan, and his timing is perfect.
