[Relevance of His Life to Present Day Christianity]
Joseph’s life and the relevance of his life to present
day Christian life attracted me to write a few thoughts
on how God’s providence works in everybody’s life from
the time he is in the womb of his/her mother. God said,
in I Peter 2:9 “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal
priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye
should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you
out of darkness into his marvelous light:” and speaking
about himself, the prophecy in Psalms 22:9, which reads
as, “But thou art he that took me out of the womb: thou
didst make me hope when I was upon my mother’s breasts”
shows us the confidence our Savior Lord Jesus Christ, in
the Father in heaven. Great confidence is shown by
Psalmist also, who said, in Psalms 71:6 that “By thee
have I been holden up from the womb: thou art he that
took me out of my mother’s bowels: my praise shall be
continually of thee”. Our creator is Lord Jesus Christ,
in whom we trust and depend for all the good in our
lives. |
