The petite and curly-haired assassin, Miranda, is more accustomed to killing men than sleeping with them. In fact, she can count the number of men she’s been with on one hand. The dark-haired Nash Shapiro, who’s as jealous as he is smoking-hot, has a passionate relationship with Miranda. They’ve survived several bumps in the road, but the green-eyed Lincoln Shapiro is ever-waiting in the shadows for his chance to steal Miranda away. His only time with his older brother’s girl was stolen and interrupted. Now he’s hoping for much more.

Weary and emotional from the sibling rivalry, Miranda seeks solitude in Grand Cayman. She is either crazy or overwhelmed with loneliness when she heedlessly invites Colin, Nash’s hunky best friend, to her hotel for some down time. Except, Colin wasn’t the only man in Miranda’s life who thought to follow her to Grand Cayman!

Miranda’s heart is being tugged in different directions, but the guys think they have a solution. And so the games begin. Eventually Miranda will have to choose, but how can she choose between the men in her life amidst all the trouble: coordinating hits, brutal fights, a treasure hunt, a kidnapping, and bruised egos? Just Deserts 3: Trouble Finds Me is a witty adventure with steamy romance. (And just maybe, it’s every girl’s dream!)

I couldn’t believe that I was standing there in that court room listening to judge McNeil sentence me to three years in a women’s prison. It hadn’t been that long ago that I was looking forward to finishing high school and then going off to college but instead I got caught up first with this guy who ended up being bad news. I married him and we had a baby girl. My husband also had a baby boy by my best friend while she was at the time messing around with my husband’s cousin. Oh, I didn’t tell you that my husband and his cousin were both drug dealers. What started out being a happy marriage turned out to be one of the worst. I caught my husband with another woman in our house, and in our bed no doubt. Yes, that man caused me a whole lot of heartache and pain and the way that I dealt with my pain was by taking drugs along with falling into another man’s arms. My husband, he gets killed by the police, caught up in a drug sting. I was left with a drug habit, two children to care for and not a dime in my pocket. Since our bank accounts, the house and everything in it was seized by the DEA, a good friend of mine introduced me to a life of prostitution. Yes, I started turning tricks to survive. Not long after I got caught by an undercover narcotics cop while trying to buy some drugs. He, of course, turned out to be crooked himself and with a big appetite for, what else, sex. He and I hooked up and I became his woman on the side. And, oh yeah, he was being investigated by Internal Affairs. Somebody that he stole drugs from dropped a dime on him and I got busted right along with him. I end up testifying against him and my sentence gets reduced from five to ten maximum to three years with good behavior. I guess that you wonder just how I made it through all of this mess, but of course it was only by the grace of God. Read my story and you will find out just how God made his presence into my life.

How I Went from Being a Prostitute/Stripper to a Pastor in the Church

Hi, I’m known as Pastor Tonya Morrison now but ten years ago I was known as Tonya Morrison a young prostitute. That’s something that I’d been doing ever since I was sixteen years old. I’m now twenty-six. Truth be told I’ve been through some stuff, I’ve sold my body for money, drugs, and favors, I’ve worked in a club as a nude stripper, yes I’ve been down some dark paths in my life, I was raped not one time but twice the second time I thought that I was going to die at the hands of my attackers. I lost my mama to death and lost my daddy to the Federal State Prison. But by the Grace of God I’m still standing better than I was before, because you see I found someone who saved me. Someone who helped me make sense of it all. To some people, I’m just another sad story to listen to but to other people I’m a living and a walking testimony in how the Lord Jesus Christ can save, heal and deliver anyone. To God be all The Glory!

“Morale is low in Anzio. Send up the band!” Bob Morton stood against the railing of the ship staring at the Mediterranean water, and thought how well the sea and the desert paced themselves: how easily they overcame the clamors of wars that echoed down the wind and joined the artifacts of Roman legions. Morton recalled the changing emotional pattern that mellowed the thoughtless courage of youth and replaced it with inarticulate knowledge, unspoken understanding, and kindness, from the comradeship shared in sacrifice. He recalled the words echoed in Fort Knox, “Music is a touch with the intangible. It gives men encouragement and lightens the burden somewhat.” A tall, raw-boned infantryman walked up next to Morton and looked out over the expanse of water, “Well buddy, I reckon it’s over for us.”

In this sequel to Just Deserts: An Assassin’s Tale, the secret society Miranda works for is threatened. Assassins from the Florida circuit have transferred to New Hampshire to help defend the Judge from attack and present a united front. For reasons unknown, Miranda seems to be at the heart of the attacks. Perhaps the fact that she is a petite female with auburn, banana curls marks her as an easy target. However, those who underestimate Miranda usually end up learning a fatal lesson.

The action shifts into full throttle the minute Lincoln Shapiro is kidnapped. Can Miranda and the others find him before his time runs out? Does Miranda’s on-again, off-again boyfriend, Nash, want his brother found? Romance winds along a bumpy road, and action builds until the exciting climax of Just Deserts 2: Miranda’s Laws.

This novel is literary justice for victims of hard-core criminals. Thousands of criminals go free on technicalities, and others are never caught. Most of us secretly wish for vigilante justice, even if only for a fleeting moment. Miranda and the society she works for deliver when the courts fall short. Join in the literary justice being delivered…one book at a time.

The Three Pastors is a story about three young men and a woman whose names are Charles Monroe, Henry Phillips, Thomas Moore and Nicky Taylor. Charles and Henry are best friends who are finishing up their senior year in high school and they are both looking forward to graduating and then going off to college. They get jobs working after school at the local mall, where Charles meets and befriends a man named Thomas who convinces Charles to quit working at the mall and to work for him. The problem is that Thomas isn’t who Charles really thinks that he is.

Thomas offers Charles a way for him to get the things that he desires in life by luring Charles into his dark and shady world involving lies, deception, money, drugs, prostitution, sex and corruption. Thomas starts off by giving Charles a brand new BMW. Charles then begins to work for Thomas and he tells his best friend Henry all about Thomas while showing him the BMW that Thomas gave him. Right away Henry knows that Charles is headed for big trouble and Henry tries to help Charles before it is too late and Charles ends up going to prison, or even worse, getting killed. Henry sets his plan into action to meet Thomas and get close to him, even if it means going to work for him so that he can get the evidence that he needs to give to the police so that they will arrest Thomas and send him to prison and get him out of Charles’ life. But it won’t be easy.

While Henry is working undercover he discovers a whole string of shady things that are going on. He and Charles meet two call girls, one of which is Thomas’ main woman and the other one who is showing a lot of interest in Charles but is really an undercover cop named Nicky Taylor. She has some issues as well as an agenda of her own, which includes her using Charles and Henry in order to help her to bust Thomas.

What is supposed to be a drug drop turns out to really be a set up by someone higher up. Who will live and who will die? Only three of them lived and became Pastors who are preaching and teaching the word of God. All three are married with families of their own. All three are living proof that God is real and that He can save, heal and deliver you from out of the darkness of this world.

Wrightsville Beach begins when Doctor David Smith and his lovely wife Brenda Pridgen Smith, and their two children, Dan and Betty, leave Boston Massachusetts and move to the Pridgen Plantation located just outside of Atkinson, NC. Doctor Smith is a geologist and an oceanographer of considerable fame. His wife, Brenda, earned her doctorate in education at Boston University. David, who was head of the science department at Boston University, gives up his prestigious position to become the second in command at the science department at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
When Brenda’s Boston family take their first look at the mega size Southern Plantation House, they are amazed! David will be working at UNCW next January of the following year. This gives Brenda’s Boston family plenty of opportunity to explore the nearly fifty thousand acre plantation. David and his children feel like they have stepped back in time over two hundred years.
Read all about David and Brenda’s experience when the two are invited by Uncle Roy Henry to a party. The ghost stories are very intriguing! Brenda and her famous husband get up enough nerve to visit the grounds of a magnificent private chapel near the French Chateau, and the amazing garden behind the huge dwelling. When David and Brenda explore the strange cemetery on this property, they realize that they have crossed a line, a dimension that science cannot explain and will always deny possible.
The Smiths move to a beautiful Spanish style mansion across the sound and Intracoastal Water Way at Wrightsville Beach, NC. The place is gorgeous! Doctor Smith, while doing research for UNCW, takes a team of scientists off the continental shelf in The Sea King, a large two hundred foot research ship. Doctor Smith wanted to learn why the region has experienced several earthquakes recently. The scientists come to the unthinkable conclusion that the entire continental shelf out from Wrightsville Beach is in danger of collapsing, which would generate a huge tsunami that would destroy the town.
Doctor Smith is relieved of his position at UNCW because he has predicted a tsunami sometime between August and the end of September. Unfortunately, he was correct and the wave destroys the beach town. Wrightsville Beach will eventually rebuild. David’s boss, Doctor Fletcher, immediately loses his job at UNCW and Doctor David Smith is asked by Doctor Julia DeVann Corbett, the famous Chancellor of the University, to take his boss’s position as head of the science department.

He could already hear the ridicule, “If you can see so much how come you didn’t tell us about the World War or the winning lotto number?” Matt knew the truth very well, to those answers and many more. But they, some, couldn’t take the truth—it was too sorrowful, sometimes even too spectacular. What kind of life would he live, what would he reveal, who would he warn, and how would he choose? If only he had gone home, not stepped foot into those woods that day—perhaps his entire life, all the people, everything, would have gone in another direction…

This book is a story about the conversation between a father and his son who had never lived together until the boy reached his maturity age. Due to circumstances beyond their control, they had to live separately and didn’t know each other until the boy completed school. At their second meeting his father told him about his profession and recounted to him what he had been doing all this while. Although they hadn’t known each other very well his father decided to tell him much of his undercover activities though not into details. Aware that this type of frankness could normally lead to and be regarded as treason, all the same he believed and hoped that through trust and explanation he would be able to win his son’s confidence, instill in him tolerance, respect for different customs, traditions and cultures and particularly races. And finally according to him, his actions and stance on human rights issues were to agitate his son to always love, fight for peace and co-existence no matter whatever he (his father) did in the past.

Concentration camps in California? It has happened before and could happen again. The time is ten years in the future. Political turmoil and small wars are globally common. Plagues and famine are commonplace. Diseases are prevalent at all levels of society, especially sexually transmitted ones such as AIDS and the variations that have developed from it. Paranoia and distrust run high among people as the media spreads lies and fear. Due to our political system playing off that fear, the United States has established a total health system to a degree more invasive of human rights and more savagely enforced than could have been imagined during the plague of the Middle Ages.

We are entering our story shortly after the passage of a Federal health-protection law which provides for mandatory testing and reporting requirements, as well as penalties for infected persons and even minor dissenters of the system in addition to establishment of concentration camps and even, secretly, executions for the main spokesmen of the Resistance.

Bernie, who heads the Resistance, is arrested by Federal agents and taken to a concentration camp where both diseased inmates and anti-government resistance leaders are kept. When Rick learns of this, he appeals to his father to use his political connections to get Bernie out, totally unaware that his father is a strong supporter of the system that put him there.

The battle with the gang that almost took over Italy is over with. Doctor La Spezia visits John at his mother’s villa and once again invites him and his girlfriend, Doctor Jane Collins, to finish their exploration of the huge cavern that is beneath Rome University. While exploring the great cavern, Doctor La Spezia shows his guests the inside of one of the temples of Hades. So terrible was the sight before them that Doctor Corbit and his friend Jane Collins felt the urge to flee. John Corbit says this in his account:
“Truly this was like looking over on what people call the other side of the vale, that thin barrier between life as we understand it and the possibilities of unspeakable sorrow and unimaginable endless suffering.”
John and his girlfriend, Jane Collins, visit a famous park on his island, called The Garden Camp Ground. While at the park, John and Jane live on a small farm run by a mountain family from Tennessee. John and his friends manage to persuade a physician by the name of Doctor James Wisdom to join his merry band of explorers. Later in the account, John, Jane Collins, and Doctor Von Brawn do a preliminary voyage to Loch Ness to determine if a full scale exploration of where John suspects the monster dwells is feasible. Jane Latimer, chairperson over the Loch Ness Committee, is shown film of two great monsters as they swim past John’s submarine, the Ben Franklin.
After the preliminary voyage to the outskirts of Hades, John and Jane Collins take a much deserved break and fly to Columbia, South America, to travel through the jungles with a famous explorer Doctor David Copperfield and his students to a great mountain that contains a hidden city of great beauty, mystery and danger. They are almost eaten by a great serpent. John says this about the snake:
“There was a snake down there that must have crawled out of a twisted science fiction writer’s nightmares.”
Finally the great day came for Doctor John Corbit and his brave crew to explore the world hidden below the surface of the Earth. Overhead, hundreds of pleasure craft follow the Michelangelo, John’s wonder submarine. Down in Hades John and his crew discover wonders beyond anyone’s dreams. To quote from Corbit’s account:
“The sheer magnificence and beauty truly would tax the ability of mortals to describe! It looks like we have indeed found the land where dreams come from and beauty was given birth to!” Join John and his brave crew as they encounter terror beyond description! I quote:
“Not since men dwelled in caves before the dawn of history had such an incident been witnessed! The fish and other life forms we saw fleeing [from the Loch Ness Monsters] were a mixed multitude of every ugly, bizarre, and savage looking creature imaginable!”

Michael Balian is a teacher and coach from a small Midwestern town. His life is comfortable, his work rewarding. This all changes with the revealing of prophecy which invades his subconscious thought. As he tries to understand the meaning behind these nightly visions, he becomes tied to others. They too have been visited by dreams, only theirs have directed them to him. As disaster invades his world, others prepare a much larger confrontation.

The novel mixes fiction, history and current events to spark discussion, dialogue and contemplation of the dangers which exist today. These threats have been faced before, the only difference is the size and scope of their effectiveness. The tale combines the energies of a group of young adults and powerful men who lead the counter-strike to a terrorist attack meant to bring down democracy and freedom. The students, a mixture of personalities, initiate a world-wide dialogue using the internet to discuss and debate controversial issues. As calamity strikes, the youthful men and women step forward into the role of modern day Crusaders. Supported by men of influence, friends and family the association bonds together to fight for culture and faith. Financed by the rich’s of the primeval Knights Templar, the battle lines are drawn.

The novel combines histories past with a modern apocalyptic assault on Western society. The response is horrific and meant to call attention to man’s inescapable potential. As the Republic falls, its replacement in the novel is left open. Nevertheless, if history repeats itself, the outcome has already been written.

Controversial and philosophic, the author attempts to promote discussion and discourse among those who follow faith and culture. Freedom and choice are at the heart of this story, defending it from the forces of evil, the goal.

Miranda is an assassin for a secret society headed by a woman called the Judge. The Judge’s clients come from every walk of life; maybe their child was molested or their daughter was raped. Whatever the case, Miranda’s face is the last face the target will ever see. Driven by hatred for her own rapist, Miranda seeks justice for those who cannot find it on their own. She uses her petite size and auburn curls to appear innocent, which allows her to approach her targets. She is a one-woman crew; trained in martial arts by the Judge’s teachers and deadly with most weapons. She uses unorthodox methods and she lives by her own set of rules dubbed Miranda’s Laws, which keep her alive and out of jail. She gives her clients peace of mind but can she obtain the same peace by finding her own rapist?

When Miranda meets Nash Shapiro, a gorgeous sword dealer, the heart she’s been trying to hide decides to ride her sleeve. Caught between two men and surrounded by her handsome colleagues, Miranda feels like a lady slipper in a dark forest!

Just Deserts: An Assassin’s Tale proves that you can love after being hurt, you can move on after loss, and you can trust after being betrayed.

It seemed a simple request. Keep his eyes and ears open and find out what the Mid-Eastern visitors on an adjoining ranch were up to. CIA intelligence reported the visitors were sponsoring an archaeological dig as a cover. But a cover for what? Mark Lambert, rancher and former Green Beret and CIA operative replied he had little time to spend playing these games. Ranching was a full time job. But he would look into it. He did not believe southern New Mexico to be a place that could jeopardize National Security. That was before his trip to Los Alamos. The attempt on his life in the atomic city changed his mind. But he would do it his way. What he did not realize, was that his support reached as far as the Oval Office. The intent was to keep knowledge of the threat to the homeland away from the news media. The Armed Forces, he was told, would be in reserve, if needed.

During the days of the first century church, Saint John, the Divine, was exiled on the isle of Patmos. He was commanded by the Lord to write to the seven churches in Asia Minor. His message was clear and simple. “Some of you are clearly showing your faithfulness and obedience to our Lord and you are being blessed. Others have strayed from the truth as worldly things have caused you to lose your way. Your disobedience to the Father is unacceptable.”

In the 21st century, a stranger has come into your midst to warn the new age-liberal churches that what you are doing is an abomination to the Father. Your use and abuse of the bride of Christ has not gone unnoticed. NOW is the time to change, since the human clock reads... three minutes to twelve.

Mr. Drinkwater’s Garden takes the reader on a trip back in time through the mind of a young sailor going home for a funeral. It’s a trip filled with both good and bad memories of growing up in a “Working Class” community during the 1950’s. The setting is a small New England town, replete with its paper and woolen mills, corner drug store, best friends and bullies. Imbedded in the story is the mystery of a secret illness which has changed the life of the main character, his family and friends.

Marty Belhaus knows there is something wrong in his neighborhood. He has a prime suspect based on what his ten year old mind understands and trusts. Layered into his daily life is the treatment he receives at the hands of an alcoholic step father, fear of the dark and surviving the physical threats of the local bully. Added to this mix are the vagaries and comedies of small town America. It makes you smile, it makes you cry and it makes you remember. It touches the hearts and minds of those who grew up in that era and who understand the mystery.
