After the earth was created, the first creatures to inhabit it were magical. From the tiny Fairies with their unique magical abilities to the mighty Dragons that soared through the sky. They were all looked after by a race of creatures called Celtlandians. The Celtlandians were charged with guiding the magical creatures and insuring that each race thrived and that the planet remained peaceful.

That was until the Great Creator decided to introduce a new race of creatures to the planet. This race was to be called Humans. The Celtlandians were told by the Great Creator not to interfere with the progress of the Humans. Things remained peaceful for a time. Then the Humans started to multiply rapidly. They also became aggressive toward the magical creatures killing many of them. The magical creatures were peaceful and their numbers started to dwindle. The Celtlandians were powerless. They had great magical abilities and could destroy the Human plague but were told by their creator not to interfere. As the magical creatures’ numbers got smaller, the Humans still multiplied as they ravaged the land.

When it seemed like the Great Creator had abandoned them the Celtlandians decided to take matters into their own hands. They took as many of the young magical creatures as they could and set out across the ocean. They looked to find a land where the Humans had never inhabited. They had to insure the safety of the small numbers of creatures that they brought with them. They found a large island that they would call their new home. This realm would be called Vahlaron. The Celtlandians cast a charm over the island so that it could not be seen by any outside creatures.

Vahlaron remained peaceful and safe for many generations until one day a man and his wife accidentally crashed on the shores of this enchanted land. The Celtlandians knew that this would eventually happen and now they had a decision to make. What would they do with the Humans? Would they allow them to stay knowing that others may follow? Would they go against the Great Creator’s wishes and destroy them and any others that may arrive? They would do whatever it took to insure that magic survived. Vahlaron was a land created for magical creatures. This was their new home and they would not allow the Humans to ruin it. They would not do to Vahlaron what they had done to the rest of the planet.

Join us in mankind’s greatest experiment, Experiment W, as we attempt to build the first warp engine. A fantasy forerunner of the real thing, this work may not for long be pure fiction.

If Jules Verne was alive today he might very well write this book, which deals both with science and the courage and determination that is needed to further it.

As President Borros says in his speech shortly before the test, “Knowledge is gained by success or failure, so there is only failure if we fail to learn. Let us go forth into the unknown as one, united in this effort to extend man’s presence into the infinite cosmos, for it is there that lies our destiny.”

The Planet Mystic Series
Book 1

Canon Tronis, an alien with magical powers, is sent to earth to prove that nothing can ever make the people living there happy.
“Look at that sky, Myth.” He pointed as he spoke. “Behind those stars and that big full moon is a small planet which is my home. It’s so far away that your earth has no knowledge it is even there. But we have always known of the earth’s existence. We have watched what happens here and the more we saw, the more confused we became. Your people never seem to be satisfied. All the time, we hear them crying ‘oh, I wish this!’ or ‘oh, I wish that!’ but even when they get what they want, they aren’t happy with it and want something else.”
Despite the fact that her mind was still reeling in disbelief that he was telling her he really was an alien, she couldn’t help but find herself lost in the truth of the rest of what he was saying. With a pounding heart, she waited for him to go on.
“We want to know why this happens. We want to know what it would take to make you happy – or if anything can.”
Canon has no idea how the answer he seeks will drastically change his own life forever.

Wrightsville Beach begins when Doctor David Smith and his lovely wife Brenda Pridgen Smith, and their two children, Dan and Betty, leave Boston Massachusetts and move to the Pridgen Plantation located just outside of Atkinson, NC. Doctor Smith is a geologist and an oceanographer of considerable fame. His wife, Brenda, earned her doctorate in education at Boston University. David, who was head of the science department at Boston University, gives up his prestigious position to become the second in command at the science department at the University of North Carolina at Wilmington.
When Brenda’s Boston family take their first look at the mega size Southern Plantation House, they are amazed! David will be working at UNCW next January of the following year. This gives Brenda’s Boston family plenty of opportunity to explore the nearly fifty thousand acre plantation. David and his children feel like they have stepped back in time over two hundred years.
Read all about David and Brenda’s experience when the two are invited by Uncle Roy Henry to a party. The ghost stories are very intriguing! Brenda and her famous husband get up enough nerve to visit the grounds of a magnificent private chapel near the French Chateau, and the amazing garden behind the huge dwelling. When David and Brenda explore the strange cemetery on this property, they realize that they have crossed a line, a dimension that science cannot explain and will always deny possible.
The Smiths move to a beautiful Spanish style mansion across the sound and Intracoastal Water Way at Wrightsville Beach, NC. The place is gorgeous! Doctor Smith, while doing research for UNCW, takes a team of scientists off the continental shelf in The Sea King, a large two hundred foot research ship. Doctor Smith wanted to learn why the region has experienced several earthquakes recently. The scientists come to the unthinkable conclusion that the entire continental shelf out from Wrightsville Beach is in danger of collapsing, which would generate a huge tsunami that would destroy the town.
Doctor Smith is relieved of his position at UNCW because he has predicted a tsunami sometime between August and the end of September. Unfortunately, he was correct and the wave destroys the beach town. Wrightsville Beach will eventually rebuild. David’s boss, Doctor Fletcher, immediately loses his job at UNCW and Doctor David Smith is asked by Doctor Julia DeVann Corbett, the famous Chancellor of the University, to take his boss’s position as head of the science department.
