Boiling Mad! Memoirs, Musings and Views of a World War II Veteran By: Sam Lembo Price:
$16.95
Quantity in Basket: none
ISBN: 978-1-60862-117-0 Edition: Paperback, 259 Pages Publication Date: December 4, 2009 Other Editions: Hardcover |
This book not only encompasses events in Europe with the
American GI, it takes you to my talks with Richard
Nixon, Robert Kennedy, Frank Sinatra and top music
people; and with the former Chancellor of Germany,
the King of Hungary, and German generals who helped us
win World War II. I include my meeting Otto Scorzeny,
the dashing Errol Flynn-like hero who rescued Mussolini
from captivity, who later received retribution from his
own people. Many dangers for our country lurk in the
shadows waiting to happen. This book takes you there to
caution and alert you.
This book is about truth and regard for important issues
that face our nation. These concerns should not be taken
lightly. My wish is to get the public involved in
finding a way to make a difference by making informed
choices. This book is about my life and how people
placed ambition and pride over all other values, it is
about the hatred that cost this country many lives.
There are people who stand out in my mind because they
went beyond ordinary weaknesses to stand up for what
they felt was right. They showed courage in the face
of fear and carried on bravely for their fellow man in
the name of justice and freedom.
I ask that each reader seriously consider the evidence
I present and form his or her own opinion on some
controversial issues. As I present my thoughts and
experiences, you will come to know that I place a high
value on empathy and compassion for people. My hope is
that this book will help remind you of the injustices
all around us. My mission is to keep the heroes of the
last century fresh in our minds so that their
humanitarian efforts will be passed down to our next
generation.

Obama, Are You Listening? By: Sam Lembo Price:
$14.95
Quantity in Basket: none
ISBN: 978-1-60862-034-0 Edition: Paperback, 251 Pages Publication Date: April 28, 2009 Other Editions: Hardcover |
This book was written with the belief, “We all can make
a difference to better the lives of others.”
My highest hope is that President Obama will make a
difference by what he does in office. I decided to write
this book in order to give him my thoughts and ideas
gained from my past experiences in a life of 85 years.
I learned a great deal about military strategy talking
with German Generals for three years. I am pictured in
this book having conversations with the Chancellor of
Germany and the King of Hungary. I majored in history
and am an ardent political analyst. Richard Nixon sat
down with me at Logan Airport in Boston, Massachusetts,
one day and opened my eyes to what politicians must do
to win nominations. John Volpe took my advice on his run
for Governor of Massachusetts and won in this strongly
Democratic state. He was a Republican.
In the Rock and Roll era of the 60’s I was a song
writer, record producer, music publisher and artist
manager. I discovered Freddy Cannon and his 2 million
record seller “Tallahassee Lassie.”
My book deals with public issues and war and peace for
President Obama to read and think about in his decision
making. In my previous book, President Bush, Sr. read my
chapter on why Robert Kennedy’s name should be placed on
the Department of Justice Building. After reading what I
had to say he not only placed his name there, but wrote
me a letter telling me my book would be placed in his
presidential library at Texas A&M.
Americans should thank God for blessing us with the
victory of a great person with empathy for others,
already proven by his stand for stem cell research for
the sick that need help. This man will succeed in
everything he does. His tremendous victory against all
odds has made me a believer.

Quantity in Basket: none
ISBN: 978-1-59824-988-0 Edition: Paperback, 83 Pages Publication Date: January 23, 2009 |
| November 4, 2008 - The Mood of a Nation is a wonderful
compilation of writings by ordinary people with
extraordinary recounts of one of the most historical
times in American history, Presidential Election 2008.
Like millions of people who anxiously gathered in 1963
to hear one of the most elegant and moving speeches of
all times be given at the Lincoln Memorial, D.C. by Dr.
Martin Luther King Jr.; thousands of onlookers awaited
with the same anticipation on November 4, 2008 to hear
“Mr. President Elect” Barack Obama give his Presidential
Victory speech at Grant Park, Chicago Illinois. This
book captures the mood of some of our countrymen and
women of the days leading up to election day and days
after. It is a mood captured by young and old, from
different ethnic backgrounds, and political
affiliations. Election day, November 4, 2008, is a time
in history that will never be forgotten. This reflective
and insightful collection of work is a piece of history
that all can share and pass on to future generations. |

America the Beautiful? By: R. Sea Price:
$10.95
Quantity in Basket: none
ISBN: 978-1-59824-975-0 Edition: Paperback, 165 Pages Publication Date: December 8, 2008 |
This book will bring to light the Surveys, Reports, and
Statistics to most of the growing problems we face in
America today; ranging from Church, Government,
Parenting, Schools, Drugs, Illegal Immigration, Gangs
and so much more narrated by Author R. Sea.
I’m not writing this book to praise the successful, but
rather to bring light to the growing problems that this
nation is facing, the longer we let it all slide and
consider them not to be serious problems then the longer
and larger these problems will grow. I’m not going to
sugarcoat these issues because no amount of sweetener
will overcome the bitterness of the facts.
We the people have put ourselves exactly where we are
at. From the lack of good moral values and common sense,
we now live in a country of violence, vandalism,
disrespect and drunkenness. The core of this country
has become pretty disgraceful.

| When we fear our systems because we think they are so
strong. When we let the laws decide what is right and
wrong. Are we not, in all honesty, thinking humans are
so weak? Aren’t we also saying we are just too afraid to
speak? And on the deeper level are we living life as if
a Higher Power has less power or just does not exist?
Is it not this very thinking that sets the tone to be
controlled? Nothing else could do it—we don’t care what
you’ve been told. We as humans have been born with
privilege; the ability to think, to feel, to observe, to
reason…there is no missing link. We have been created
with all the knowing how to live. From day one we have
all of this! Now something has to give. |

THE RISE AND DECLINE OF PRESIDENT GLORIA MACAPAGAL-ARROYO By: PATRICIO R. MAMOT, PH.D. Price:
$14.95
Quantity in Basket: none
ISBN: 978-1-59824-777-0 Edition: Paperback, 238 Pages Publication Date: March 24, 2008 |
This book portrays a slice of Philippine contemporary
political history under the leadership of President
Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo. It is a critical view of her
leadership style and role. Pres. Arroyo has until 2010
to stay in power. However, due to the never-ending
corruption, which seems to be spiraling out of control,
the author observes that the Filipinos could very well
see her eventual downfall before 2010.
In January 2008, the Asia Pulse survey indicates that
Pres. Arroyo is considered even “more corrupt” than the
disgraced dictator Pres. Ferdinand E. Marcos. Several
international pollsters consider the Philippines as the
“most corrupt” in Asia.
The author dedicates this book to the more than 11
million overseas Filipino workers (OFWs) who are
remitting nearly US$15 billion annually to their
families they left behind. This yearly remittance
sustains the Philippine economy, which is wracked by
widespread corruption. These OFWs, who are working in
many parts of the world are considered “modern heroes”
of the Philippines.

This is a book that gives equal criticism to democrats,
liberals, far left liberals, republicans, conservatives,
far right conservatives and libertarians. Some of the
material covered in this book include: The inherent
evil of politics; the arrogance of power; why you
should never trust a politician who always seeks to
raise your taxes, who constantly uses religion or God
in their speeches, who does not fully support the second
amendment and the right to self-defense. Other questions
explored in this book include: What is wrong with the
democratic party? What is wrong with the republican
party? What is wrong with the libertarian party? This
is a book for people who are tired of being lied to
and conned by politicians who enjoy insulting your
intelligence. This is a book for independent minded,
thinking individuals who refuse to be led by the nose
