Then Samuel took a stone and set it up between Mizpah
and Shen. He named it Ebenezer, saying, “Thus far has
the Lord helped us.” I Samuel 7:12
This book is the “stone” that my grandchildren and
great grandchildren may know that the Lord is
trustworthy and has helped us thus far.
He has taken me from the childhood cry “Who’s going to
rock me?” to the knowledge that “In His presence is
fullness of joy.”
Through open doors,
By streams of living waters,
In resting places with Him day by day,
‘Mid earthly battlefields
And this world’s sorrows,
He taught me, fed me, led me all the way.
